About ChupacabraCon

Thank you for visiting ChupacabraCon, the premier central Texas analog gaming convention for industry professionals and players.

The convention is run by nonprofit foundation Austin Creative Pathways benefiting Extra Life whose mission is to unite thousands of gamers worldwide to play games in support of their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital.

ChupacabraCon is a small event, pulling visitors from around the country. We are known for having an unusually high number of professional guests for an event of our size. We routinely host 25 to 30 industry guests including designers and authors of many top RPGs. Being a small event of around 1000 attendees, this is a unique opportunity to meet your favorite designers, who run their games at ChupacabraCon.

We also hold many special events at the convention. D&D Adventurers League and Pathfinder Society regularly host unique, special events at our little convention. We have also held Savage Saturday Night every year since our inception. This is an evening of games run by the authors of Deadlands, East Texas University, Savage Rifts, and many other Savage Worlds settings. We have several special events including a charity auction. VIP tickets are also available which allow players special privileges such as signing up early for games, access to our green room, and more.

We have been told, by attendees and industry guests, that Chupacabracon is one of their favorite events of the year. Come join our family of gamers!
